Emma woodhouse is a girl of Twenty, one and after her sister’s marriage. She two the responsibility of the house. Her father Mr. Woodhouse give her freedom, But she has decided not to marry. She is happy of being single. She made lots of peirts but for herself never thought for anybody. She was a women who is very social gatherings at her home. So that the match-making program well be easy for her.

       Once she meets a poor, orphan girl of seventeenth, named harried smith. She lives in a boarding school. She (Emma) decided for he a suitable match and told her to refuse the man who pose her for marriage because in Emma’s mind Mr. Elton is suitable for Herried she arranges mitting for them but letter on she realizes at Mr. Elite house  Emma. Rather now it is difficult for two tackle Harried but she is convinced but Mr. Elton for Herried.

   On the other hand, Mr. Knightley the brother of Mr. John Knightley is a well-wisher of Emma and also lows her from earlier days. He advised her note to make matches of people according to her because it would to go wrong just like in the case of Herried but she is very rigid.

One day Frank Churchill comes to mid her because he is family friend. She thought he comes for her try to make convinced her that he is in love, and go can back to his country. After years he can back but with a news that he God with Ms. Jane Fairfax.


   In the very End of the novel all set with their counter parts. Emma with Mr. Knightley , Herried with Robert Martin, Churchill with Ms. Jone Fairfax and last Elton with Ms. Augusta  hawking.
